A few brushes.
A little wine.
A lot of colour.

Four steps to
a painted piece.

The same steps we walk you through at the table. No rush. Each one takes as long as it takes.

One piece.
Two ways to glaze it.

Once your piece is painted and dry, you choose how it gets its final shine. Pick one, or glaze two pieces differently.

Dipping a ceramic piece into glossy glaze
Option A

Glossy

A clear glaze that seals the colour and fires into a deep, reflective shine.

  1. Glazing

Dip the piece or brush on an even coat of clear glaze, covering it completely so no raw clay shows.

  2. Firing

In the kiln the glaze melts into a smooth, glassy layer that makes every colour underneath pop.

Brushing matte glaze onto a ceramic piece
Option B

Matte

A soft, non-reflective glaze that keeps the texture of your brushwork visible.

  1. Glazing

Brush on a thin, even layer of matte glaze, taking care not to let it pool in the grooves.

  2. Firing

The kiln sets it into a smooth, soft-touch surface with almost no shine.

Either way, your piece leaves the table ready for its final firing.

Come for the paint.
Stay for the evening.

Quiet tables, brushes in jars, music in the background and a glass of wine within reach. Less like a class, more like a slow night out.

A glass makes every brushstroke braver.
Everyone around the same table.
More shades than you'll need.
Expect a little paint on your fingers.
Strangers at the start, friends by the last coat.
Slow down. That's the whole point.
Finished glazed ceramic plate
Finished ceramics ready to take home

Painted by you.
Yours to keep.

You don't take it home the same night. A painted piece still needs glaze and a kiln before it's finished. That part is on us.

Tonight You paint

You finish your piece and leave it with us, labelled with your name.

The next days We glaze and fire

A clear glaze and a kiln firing make the colours glossy and food-safe.

About a week later You pick it up

We let you know when it's ready, then it's yours to use every day.
